Modia - Equation Based Modeling and Domain Specific Algorithms

A new design of the Modia experimental modeling language based on Julia is presented. It has simple yet powerful syntax and semantics. unified means describing fundamental semantics, which similar to Modelica, outlined. Furthermore, it shown how domain specific algorithms can be combined with equation modeling. demonstrated for multibody systems will enable more efficient translation simulation since much repetitive analysis transformations are avoided. The drive train a robot model was automatically translated from Modelica Modia. Modern community allow working automatic differentiation uncertainties.
